BRUCE LEE STORY "Chapter IV: The Flute That Failed!"

...Bruce wanted to do more than just perform others' scripts!
Sadly, the movie wasn't produced in his lifetime.
But Bruce's death provided the impetus to actually produce and release the film!
Ironically, the ads promoted David Carridine, who ended up as the star of the TV series Kung Fu as the star of the film.
However, Carridine took the primary supporting role Lee had written for himself, playing various martial artists instructing the film's wandering protaganist, Cord (Jeff Cord) in numerous fighting styles and associated philosophies.
There's an excellent article about the movie (released as Circle of Iron) HERE!

BRUCE LEE STORY "Chapter I: The Dragon and the Golden Gate!"

We Have Already Seen...

On July 20th, 1973, writer/actor/martial artist Bruce Lee died under still-unexplained circumstances.
Now, we look back on his life and legacy...
Tomorrow:
Slow Boat to Hollywood!
Written by Martin Sands, penciled by Joe Staton, and inked by Tony DeZuniga & the Tribe (sounds like a rock band, doesn't it?), this book-length graphic novel was done for Marvel's Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #28 (1976), three years after the death of Bruce Lee.
