Asian Avenger LADY SHIVA in RICHARD DRAGON: KUNG-FU FIGHTER "Arena of No Exit!" Conclusion

(Actually, you'll see this in a couple of pages
It hasn't happened in the narrative...yet!)
Richard Dragon meets Sandra Woosan, sister of Caroline Woosan, who was slain by The Swiss, right-hand man to the criminal Guano Cravat while under Dragon's protection!
Though he killed The Swiss, Dragon still wants vengeance on Cravat for ordering Caroline's death, and Sandra provides Cravat's current location!
Note: Though Sandra is Caroline's sister, her reason for aiding Dragon is not as benevolent as it appears to be...
Lady Shiva's history after this tale can be seen below...
...in DC's Who's Who Update 1987 #3 (1987)
Since then, due to constant rebooting of the DC Comics Multiverse, many of these details have been altered, and the numerous animated/live action/video game versions of her bear little resemblance to the character you've just read about!

FAST WILLIE JACKSON "Hannibal in 'King of Kung Fu' "

In the mid-1970s a Black publisher launched a teen humor comic book...
...that looked remarkably-like the Archie Comics lineup...except they weren't white!
In this Archie-clone series, Hannibal is a bald Big Moose/not too bright jock-type perfect for this never-reprinted tale by publisher/editor/scripter Bertram Fitzgerald and artist "Gus LeMoine"  from Fitzgerald's Fast Willie Jackson #6 (1977) tale capitalizing on the mid-1970s Kung Fu Kraze!

Kung-Fu Christmas SAMURAI SANTA "Samurai on 34th Street" Conclusion

Though inker Jim Lee has become a comics creative powerhouse as an editor/writer/penciler/inker, writer Phillip Clarke, Jr never became major contributor to the comics field.
Penciler Don Secrease has done a lot of work for AC Comics and his own strip, Terranauts, after premiering as a b/w comic, has become a webcomics mainstay!

Kung-Fu Christmas SAMURAI SANTA "Samurai on 34th Street" Part 1

Everybody, no matter their belief system, celebrates the winter holiday season...

...even martial artists, as this never-reprinted tale from Solson's Samurai Santa (1986) demonstrates!
Trivia: this hard-to-find book features the very first work by a writer/artist who became a superstar comics creative!
Let's meet him...
Yes, that Jim Lee!
BTW, do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Christmas-themed martial arts story?
